Professor Bongani Majola was nominated by Ms Janet Love and Ben Mabena. Professor Majola has academic qualifications including an LLM from Harvard University in 1988. He has practiced as an advocate of the High Court and was the assistant secretary general of the UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. Besides his extensive international experience and esteem in which he is held, he was also the national director for the Legal Resource Center (1996 - 2003) here in SA which is renown for quality human rights work and advocacy.
